Film Screening and Art Exhibition: Kazimir Malevich

On July 27th, we hosted a documentary film screening dedicated to Kazimir Malevich. The event also featured an art exhibition showcasing the works of six Ukrainian artists of different generations, reflecting diverse perspectives on identity, heritage, and resilience.

Throughout the evening, attendees had the opportunity to engage with the artists and support a meaningful cause. Together, we raised 520 CAD, which was donated to the “City of Goodness” (Місто Добра) — a Ukrainian charity organization that provides support to children receiving palliative care, as well as to women and children affected by the war.

We are sincerely grateful to everyone who took part and contributed to this event — your support helps us bring Ukrainian art and stories to our community in Halifax while making a tangible difference back home.
